so hun - mong - vik is best or hun - mong - maya (fimp eew , rape econ) ?

Also, for yuca

hun - mong - pers / maya ?

baltic i asuume its hun- mong - vik coz water's soo important.

So, what do ya think?

Huns on every map. They're good at everything. If Vikings are 10/10 on water then Huns are 8.5 or 9 out of 10. Japanese aren't even this good.

BR I would go Huns, Vikings, Mongols. It's the most versatile. Unless you can come up with a special strategy that will work then don't do anything different than this.

Baltic take Huns, Vikings, Mongols.

Yucatan I would go Huns, Mongols, Spanish.

If you are forced to choose Islands due to Baltic on BR then take Huns, Vikings, Japanese.

And if you're forced to go Arabia then take Huns, Mongols, Chinese. Or take Persians instead of Chinese and rape archers.

I was thinking though, and if you guys are playing a good team you don't stand a chance against then I say do something crazy. Come up with a weird strat. Roll the dice. Maybe sling your Hun player on a land map, do something they don't expect. Worth a shot, you're not going to win in a straight up Hun/Mong/Vik war against some 1900's. They would have to make some huge mistakes for you to have a shot playing a normal game.

baltic: mong huns vik

yuca: mong spain + huns/mayans/celts/persians
huns->good if open map, sux else (if the map is easy to wall, they won't do s**t vs a decent waller)
mayans->do ok whatever the map is open or close
celts->op in dark, feudal and imp, weak in late castle
persians->do ok whatever the map is open or close (dumbos ^^)

ara: mong huns + chinese/mayans/persians/spain/teutons
chins: best third civ if you have someone who can handle their start
mayans: best third civ ex-aequo, esp if you have troubles with chin start
will be good too if game is laggy
pers spain teutons: cool civs if pocket, but no arbalest available (not even xbows for spain) can be deadly if you are side

isles: vik huns + jap/sarra/mayans
jap: stronger early feudal
sarra: better from late feudal to imp
mayans: better in late imp (+20% wood on their island)

For Migra

Vik - Obvious reason
Jap - Cheap lumber, good dark age fish eco fish , fbsdont die soon. and very imp = galley LOS
Pers - 250 wood can start the game with dock good eco, naval and pala civ. Can do 11 min feudal with pers easy.

Strategy

In migra, the pocket slings 300-400 food each to flanks and gets imp around 25 min

no house is a big bonus.......the res you save with jap is minimal. With a decent grush you will have around 70+ pop in 20 mins. Thats 13 houses = 390 wood + time to build each house. You will save atmost 200 / 250 wood on mill/farm/camp.

Huns got pala late game + HCA. Japs are slow civ, not really good at raiding. Stable bonus rox too. Helps you maintain pop. Huns got full trash (jap halbs are better tho ). Japs no bloodlines, no hussar.

Jap <<< hun on water. Hun grush is second only to vik.

Its not. Dunno why ppl think japs and pers are good. They are not bad, does not mean they are good.

maya can eew flood and take middle land. Raid in 100 places with 5-10 eew. If you imp fast enough (sub 30), you can totally rule middle with maya. Not coz of their water powers lol, they can grush and still imp around 30 go eew and rape econ.
