Thumbring first....when you have around 30+ CA, ballistics immeadeatly after. For xbows ballistics first (if going arbs, with maya etc).
Coz accuracy of xbow >>CA, CA have 30% accuracy or something like that without thumbring and firing rate is also less. Thumb ring first always.

noobs, the important thing is ballistics doesnt cost food it applies to ships and everything too thumbring with 300 food is hard to research immedeately

lol, in a hun CA war, 300 food is not a problem, you are spending on a wood+gold army. Save up some wood and get thumbring. In general FR games (which nobody plays

Effects accuracy.....nothing else. So do thumbring in post imp if going mass skirms. When you are 200 pop and with excess food/wood.

1. if we talk bout chemistry, vry important wen considered the +1 range especially for the british elite longbowmen. it shud b always done after the elite research and all smith reasearchs are done, this is wat i feel (except in the case we want to go HCs or may b even BBCs).
