Few Tips

Thanks to L_Clan_Carver
You may want to add few other tips..that can help starting players or even average.
some that come to my head right now :

Queue Villager before looming or aging up

LOOM + Villager Queue:

Click loom with left click and hit villager hotkeys with keyboard (most likely C)

Loom start and once finished, villager strat training immediatly

great tip for lag games or to avoid wasting few seconds after loom if you doing something else, scouting etc...

Age up + Villager Queue:

Same as above, Click age upgrade with left clik and hit villager hotkey on your keyboard (most likely C)

Once age upgrade is completed, villager start immediatly to work

NOTE: Alright, for both, you need the required 50 food to queue the
viallger, otherwise it won't work. it's not a cheat, it's a tip

This tip will also Work with wheelbarrow up and town patrol.

Palisade Tip also interesting,
for helping to know if opponent will foward you
watch opponent mines and if see if they are mining gold/stone

To help checking for forward, just put a palisade piece on wolfs
between your base and opponent base while scouting (Alright you DO NOT
go build it )

Same for mines, put palisade all over opponent gold/stone mines, and you'll be able to see villager when they start mining.

Palisade also pretty good when you're forwarding:

If you get attacked by a wolf and kill it while walking to opponent base to forward
After you killed wolf, build a palisade piece on the dead wolf and then delet it.
So opponent can't see dead wolf in fog of war, and will not be aware of
forward unless they scout your villagers running or use the building
"bug" scout.

Same goes if u got an annoying tree arround ur TC and you killed you boar next to it for example.
Start cutting tree, then build palissade on it, and then delet wall piece...tree is gone.

Can work to get inside a base too and sometimes it's pretty usefull and
can complety screw a player that did full walled with a single wall of
wood to go fast castle.
A lot of time there is a tree in the line of the wall and player don't bother walling behind it.
When you don't have a large feudal army or whatever, it can be helpfull.

get a villager, start cutting the tree, build a palisade on it and delet it....Magic you can now get into his base

I think you can add some more to the guide, it can be pretty usefull for some people.
yeah a lot will say, come on you don't know those simple tips??

But did you ever saw people that plays for years and don't know queue villager tip?? no? well i did, and a lot of time.

I learned them all by watching recs...

The villager queue up was new to me, the rest are obvious though.

everything obvious to me but i wont suggest que villy on clicking age coz sometimes[if u get this in habit] u wont have 550 food n then ur villy will start producing

happens to me a lot..

i also know it before by seeing recs

que vill can be used on any building, i think i posted the same on voobly too.

press xbow up and que arch, xbow gets qued after research

its "non lag"
in pings under 100 its too tough to do (ex :- unexpected mayan start)
but in 500+ ping we get 2-3 secs to hit loom

another tip(although its a noob tip)

when playing against wall whores, in case the opponent stone walls(usually happens when opponent is maya or mongol), he won't usually think of making army straight away(against hun diff story though, usually he'll go CA or even knt straight away after walling + FC) he would rather be booming.

get some 3 villies backed by some skirms, archers and start screwing the stone wall. itll irritate his play and boom(he'll most probably have to go siege wrkshop + mangonel, so he'll waste some 365 wood so he'll have a slow initial boom)


i know its a noob tip, but many players will start thinking GG if enemy == maya or mongol and fully walled, but this can irritate the enemy and his boom.

i've seen daut and many others doing this

when enemy walls we dont have option of not walling

if attack sound irritates that much
lol , opponent will decrease speaker volume & boom
