not really, a rating system is very important to play especially for team games. Game ranger has 60% hackers compared to a 20% hackers on voobly(only CS, non existent in RM).

You are only helping kill the game by playing there, voobly is the strength of aoc, thats where all the top players play.

And LOL at 70% players less than 16xx. I'd say there are at least 95% less than 17xx, even the gay hamachi networks are way way better than GR. The guy who promotes gameranger does it in a gay manner.

And don't play vs players who are less than u in skill level and when u know u win 95% of the time, I don't understand how that is better than playing vs comp.

just for ur info mate, my record there is 50% win and 50% loss (not counting friendlies played wid known friends) since i know the gud players there.. so i have ample competition for myself there, and gr being way faster than voobly is the primary criteria for me so meh..

and just cos top players play on voobly doesnt make it the strength of aoe, it just makes it the most competitive one.. actual strength of voobly would be its anti-hacking mechanism which u mentioned, but not cos best players play there..

True. If you don't like rating, you have to use another client. Rating and competition are Voobly's best and worst features. That is what defines voobly as a product. The USP.

GR is for chickens(nooobs), who can't handle playing against their equivalent counterparts in voobly, and giving reasons like no enjoyment, friendliness, rating, etc as an excuse

aoc is also about recs, lets say if u upload recs on a gameranger server no one will download it as compared to voobly, even recs are important to keep aoc alive,

On GR i only play DM.. apart from that i play ga with maharj wen he calls.. he generally has 2 of his friends also wid him.. we always play as a team, whoever be opponent just to have fun.. we get raped also on times..
